Put the verbs in brackets into the Past Simple Passive form. / Постав слова у дужках у Past Simple Passive.

a) The London Eye is in London, of course, and it was designed by British architects. However, it wasn’t made in Great Britain at all! The main parts of the Eye were built in Holland. The other parts were made in the Czech Republic, France, Germany and Italy. The parts were carried to Great Britain by ship. Then they were put together in London. It was opened to the public on 1st February, 2000.
b) The Millennium Bridge is a bridge across the River Thames in London. It was opened in 2000 by the Queen. However, it was closed again two days later because it wobbled too much! Two years later, on 22nd February, it was opened again. Now it is used by thousands of people every day.

а) Лондонське око, звичайно, знаходиться в Лондоні, і його спроектували британські архітектори. Але він був зроблений зовсім не у Великій Британії! Основні частини Ока були побудовані в Голландії. Інші частини виготовлялися в Чехії, Франції, Німеччині та Італії. Деталі були доставлені до Великої Британії на кораблі. Потім їх зібрали в Лондоні. Він був відкритий для публіки 1 лютого 2000 року.
б) Міст Міленіум – міст через річку Темзу в Лондоні. Він був відкритий у 2000 році королевою. Однак через два дні його знову закрили, тому що він занадто сильно хитався! Через два роки, 22 лютого, його знову відкрили. Зараз ним користуються тисячі людей щодня.
