Вправа 5e (Speak & Write: A story)
Look at the pictures 1-7, which show what happened to Tim and James. Make up a story using the pictures and the ideas/prompts given in the boxes. Then think of an interesting ending. / Подивіться на малюнки 1-7, які показують, що трапилося з Тімом і Джеймсом. Складіть історію, використовуючи малюнки та ідеї/підказки, подані в рамках. An Amazing Discovery (Дивовижна знахідка)
It was a warm summer morning. Tim and James decided to go scuba diving. As soon as they put on their scuba diving gear, they jumped into the water. They had an underwater camera with them because they wanted to take some photos.
While they were diving, they saw many beautiful tropical fish. Then, they saw the entrance to an underwater cave and decided to go inside and explore it. They were so amazed when they discovered an old wooden treasure chest!
A few minutes later, they swam back to their boat to get some help. They tied a rope around the chest and managed to pull it up onto the boat.
When the boys opened the chest, they couldn't believe their eyes. It was full of gold coins and precious jewels! Fortunately, they were rich!
