1. Where is it located? (Де вона знаходиться?)
Today I want to talk about the Kyiv State Choreographic College. The school is located in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine.
2. How many students? (Скільки учнів?)
There are about 300 students who attend the college.
3. What do young people study? (Що вивчає молодь?)
The school offers classes in regular subjects, just like our school, such as Ukrainian literature, history, and maths. But it is a special training school, so students spend many hours every day on ballet and dance.
4. What do students do on a typical day? (Що учні роблять у звичайний день?)
On a typical day, students often have their academic classes in the morning and then have many hours of difficult ballet practice in the afternoon. It is very hard work.
5. Advantages/Disadvantages? (Переваги/Недоліки?)
The advantages are that you get world-class ballet training and can join famous ballet companies (like the National Opera of Ukraine) when you finish. The main disadvantage is that it's an incredible amount of hard work, and the risk of injury is very high.
